sample portfolio thinking

A few comments: the previous post of the portfolio rules;
as Anthony indicated in class is about organization, also you can see
the background grey or black can have meaning and relate to for example organizing photos.

You should treat the process of making a portfolio like a design problem:
A. sketch through the pages before production
B. start with basic info: site plan, a paragraph or two about the project and make the text read as blocks of information.

Below is a sketch which ask questions of the following sheet. It asks
1. where is the site plan, and limit number of photos especially if they do not become montages with your work in them later.
2. sk refers to the sketches, so relate the first one to the site plan, space out the rest so it reads as individual plan making proposals.
3. add that intro text
4. use the black zone to say this is the given info, i know this person said theywant to do L of black but that is not meaning yet other then i want to....

remember you can go outside of the 9 rectangle when you start grouping  in rows and columns like the yellow and blue color coding of the portfolio rules in indicating.
Enjoy the process, it will take time.

  1. next to site plan is site photos, the large one is not necessary and actually can be replaced with the last smaller one

  2. keeping all site photos black and white without montaged project ideas is a good idea
