For Friday, we will celebrate Veteran's day together in class

scaling your thesis from plane to frame on the site
1. plane
2. plane-mass-to frame
3. frame

Site analysis conclusions:
3 grids: city, tomb/death, life of river view which should relate to your thesis

  3. i understand what you mean by plane and the mass of the program , what do u mean as far as frame, i am a little confused.Do you mean like for example a stick at each corner of the program to represent the extents?

  4. frame is basically structure...it is more then just the corners, especially if the corners span 80 feet-- it is a rhythm, columns, bent frames ....
    it is also the reason to start a trasformation with the reference plane, the frame can expland to cut the plane and get to the view...make a exibit space outside, form skylights.. so the frame structures the form and gives it scale, gives it structure
